About the Scholarship

The first Canadian Chefs’ Congress Culinary Scholarships was awarded by Michael Stadtländer, Chef and President/Founder of the Canadian Chefs’ Congress on the occasion of All Clad’s 40th Anniversary celebration which took place at the Sub-Zero Wolf Showroom in Toronto on April 13, 2011. All Clad is a Gold Sponsor of the Canadian Chefs’ Congress and has been a supporter since it began in 2008. John Higgins, Chef and Director of George Brown Chef School was in attendance at the ceremony.

There was a silent auction with the proceeds going to the Scholarship program.

The Canadian Chefs’ Congress Culinary Scholarship program is an initiative of the Canadian Chefs’ Congress. The first recipient is Stephen Hunt from George Brown Chef School in Toronto.
